Climate Week

This week (04 to 10 March 2013) is Climate Week. Climate Week is a national event to raise awareness of climate change and how we can make changes for a sustainable future.

Evidence has shown that changes to the earth’s climate have been accelerated by human behaviour rather than natural causes through actions that create emissions of greenhouse gases like Carbon Dioxide.

You can play a part in putting a stop to this by making little changes in your daily life. For example, switch to using energy saving light bulbs or use public transport whenever possible instead of traveling by car.

Throughout the week the Energy Wise with Wolverhampton Homes Facebook page will be sharing ideas you can try during Climate Week including:

  • Green your bathroom
  • Green your Cuisine
  • Switch to green energy
  • Sustainable DIY
  • Kick out the Can
  • Upcycling
  • Saving Water
  • Love your Laundry
  • Keep Warm
  • Shower Power
  • Kitchen Care
