Home insurance offer
More than 130 Wolverhampton Homes’ tenants have signed up for home insurance - taking advantage of a half price offer during the summer.
And due to this success the special half price offer is being repeated all through November too!
The organisation is offering again a 50 per cent saving on home insurance for tenants who join the scheme through November for the next year. The discount meant that residents who are over 60 pay as little as 45 pence per week or £22.50 per year. Residents aged under 60 pay from 67 pence per week or £33.50 per year.
Wolverhampton Homes is working with Allianz Insurance on the special offer and tenants can choose a variety of ways to pay, by Direct Debit, at one of the five housing offices, over the telephone via the City Pay automated service or by standing order.
Helen Bellingham, head of home sales and leases at Wolverhampton Homes, said: “We had such a good response to our last promotion we have decided to run it again. Home insurance is so important, belongings need to be insured in case anything unexpected happens – it is the tenant’s responsibility to make sure their home contents are insured.
“What’s more, this scheme is affordable for most of our tenants and it covers their furniture, belongings and decorations against theft, fire of water damage or other household risks. It also gives peace of mind as we approach the winter months.”
