Reporting a Housing Repair
If you live in a Council home and need to report:
- A repair to the property
- A fault on a door entry (intercom) system
- A fault on a disabled lift
- or you need to:
- Ask about a repair you have already reported
Please email Homes Direct or use our secure general enquiry e-form to request repairs to your property, communal areas and communal lighting, or you can use our Housecall diagnostic tool. You can also telephone Homes Direct on 01902 556789 or use the Courtesy phones in your Local One Stop Shop and The Civic Centre.

Your Right to Repair
The Right to Repair is a national scheme for council tenants. It makes sure that certain small urgent repairs which might affect your health, safety or security, are done quickly and easily. To find out more about the Right to Repair scheme please visit the Your Right to Repair webpage .
Out of Hours Repairs
Please report emergency Out of Hours Repairs when Homes Direct is closed, on 01902 552999.

Security - bogus callers
When our representatives call at your home to inspect or carry out a repair, please check their identity card and ask for the job reference number.
