Plug In

We have teamed up in a project called Plug In to help our tenants save water and energy in their homes.
The project is supported by Severn Trent Water, the Environmental Agency and Global Action Plan.
As part of this project we are installing water saving equipment to tenants’ homes during the Decent Homes work, planned improvement programmes and routine repairs.
Water saving equipment includes:

Regulates the flow of your shower and saves you water, energy and money

Take the shower challenge with a four minute showertimer

Save a flush
This simple device saves 1.2 litres of water every time the toilet is flushed

Tap inserts*
Regulates the flow of your taps and saves you water, energy and money

*Please note: ShowerSave and Showerhead are not suitable for electric showers or those with a multiple jets. Save-a-flush is not suitable for low or dual flush toilets. Tap inserts suitable for taps with threaded inserts only. For more advice contact Alvina Ali on 01902 556789.

We are also running EcoTeams, which are events for tenants to meet up once a month to look at ways of saving water and energy. Find out the next event here.
