Did you know that for every incident of hate crime that is reported, eight incidents go unreported? A hate crime is any incident where someone has been targeted or harassed due to their race, gender, transgender, disability, sexual orientation, age, faith/religion, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity.
It can take many forms including verbal or physical abuse, threatening or abusive behaviour, damage to property or graffiti. We will help any tenant who is the victim of hate crime. You may have seen someone being abused because they're disabled, you may have heard someone being abused because of their race or you may have suffered hate crime yourself. We want to make sure everyone in Wolverhampton knows what a hate crime is and helps puts a stop to it.
Once you've pledged your support, you can also like our Stop Hate in Wolverhampton facebook page, to keep up with how the campaign is going.
