Inspection 2010 

In November 2010, the Audit Commission, the independent watchdog for housing providers, inspected Wolverhampton Homes. After two weeks of intensive interviews and observation, It awarded the maximum three star excellent rating with excellent prospects for improvement. The result demonstrates that we offer tenants an ‘excellent‘ service.

The inspection also shows that we have improved since we received a two star rating in 2007, which is thanks to the involvement of tenants, the hard work of staff and the support of Wolverhampton City Council. Among the strengths commended by the Audit Commission, the report highlighted our strong commitment to customer care, value for money and increased employment and training opportunities. Overall, the report summarised us as an organisation which ‘puts its customers at the centre of its activities and listens to what they say.’
