City of Wolverhampton Council is hosting information sessions for local residents to find out more about becoming a councillor.

Thursday 12th July 5.30pm to 7pm and Wednesday 18th July 10am to 11.30am

Perhaps you are already involved in local affairs and want to take the next step, or you may be looking for a worthwhile and rewarding way to help your local community. Standing as a local councillor might be right for you.

At the information session you will find out more about the process of standing as a councillor, hear from existing councillors, have the opportunity to ask questions, and make connections with local political groups to talk about the next steps if you are interested in standing as a party candidate.
