Picture of staff at Pride

Come and see us at Wolverhampton Pride on Saturday 27th September.

PRIDE is a positive event against discrimination towards LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) people. It aims to raise awareness and promote equal rights for LGB and T* people, celebrating sexual diversity and gender variance.

Organised by the community for the community, this year promises to be the biggest and best yet. There will be something for everyone with a parade, guest speakers, community stalls, a wide variety of refreshments and a stage packed full of amazing performers.

The parade, which promises to be bigger, brighter and better than last year, will leave Fold Street car park at 1pm, returning to the Pride area around 2pm for the official opening on the main stage by the Mayor.

Our Proud to be Me Network, of LGBT staff and straight allies, will be taking part in the parade and we will also have a stall in the Pride area. So give us a wave if you see us in the parade and come and say "hello" to us at our stall.
