We've formed an innovative community partnership with Wolves, which will see hundreds of local tenants getting online and securing up to two complimentary tickets per eligible person to a Sky Bet Championship league game at Molineux.

In figures revealed by Wolverhampton Homes, more than 9,000 council households in the city could be missing out on skills, job opportunities and hundreds of pounds worth of savings a year on fuel bills because they’re not online.

Wolverhampton Homes and Wolves are calling on tenants to see Wolverhampton Homes staff at venues across the city, so that they can give them help to either get online or to help them use the internet fully. Any tenants who are helped will get the chance to win two free Wolves tickets with an online voucher which will result in many tenants experiencing a live football match at Molineux for the first time.

As part of this agreement, Wolverhampton Homes will continue their support of Wolves Community Trust’s award-winning Kicks’ social inclusion scheme, and some additional projects as well.

Lesley Roberts, Chief Executive at Wolverhampton Homes said:

“It’s great to see a club like Wolves coming out to support this call. Like the council and ourselves, they’re already doing some great work through the Community Trust to try and help people get online because in the modern age, people really do risk missing out and getting left behind if they’re online.”

Jez Moxey said:

“This innovative agreement enables us to work more closely with a major community partner to reach out to all members of the community, many of whom may not have previously attended a game at Molineux. Previously we’ve positively impacted local tenants via school, charities and community groups, however, the relationship with Wolverhampton Homes open up another important channel. Through the online process, the Club can capture the data of more local residents and hopefully encourage them to continue their contact with the Club in whatever form it takes.”

Tenants will be contacted with details of an event near them.
