Ellie, the retired West Midlands Fire Service dog, recently visited residents at the Forget-me-not sensory garden and was adored by all the residents who came along.

As part of Dementia Awareness week, Ellie and local residents were invited to the garden in Swanmore Close with lots of great food and refreshments to enjoy in the gorgeous weather.

Ellie was a big hit with guests as you can see from the photos- what a happy dog!

A cheque for £250.00 was presented to the Dementia ward at New Cross Hospital. The money was raised by Wolverhampton Homes’ staff during a dress down day.

The Forget-me-not garden, in Swanmore Close, in Bradmore was developed in 2015 by Wolverhampton Homes as part of the staff volunteering project as part of the plan to make Wolverhampton into a Dementia friendly city.
