Tendering for works contracts
We need our suppliers to do lots of different works and to provide lots of different goods and services.
We don’t have an approved supplier list so if you want to become a supplier, you need to apply for tender opportunities when they become available.
You also need to make sure that you:
- Hold a relevant Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificate for the length of the contract.
- Hold public liability insurance of £5,000,000 for the length of the contract. If you don’t hold this level of insurance at the time of tendering, you must prove that you can obtain this level, if awarded the contract, before the contract starts.
If you’re not already accredited by an SSIP Forum Member then visit their websites for further information.
