Press release from the City of Wolverhampton Council, dated 6 January 2022

Adult Education Wolverhampton's 2022 course programme is now live – with prospective learners invited to see what's on offer at virtual open days taking place next week.

People are invited to visit www.webenrol.com/wolverhampton to make an enquiry or application, or they can complete a registration form at https://bit.ly/3FVdwOd to request a call back from a curriculum specialist who will advise on the next steps and support them to make an application.

If people would prefer a face-to-face meeting, they can visit Adult Education Wolverhampton’s Covid-secure Old Hall Street headquarters in the city centre on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (10-12 January) from 10am-3pm and 5pm-7pm. All current Covid-19 guidelines will be followed for the safety of staff and students whilst on site.

Councillor Dr Michael Hardacre, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said:

"Every year thousands of people from across the city join classes at Adult Education Wolverhampton.

"As we recover from the pandemic, why not make 2022 the year you join them for success, enjoyment and a path to further study, employment or better health and wellbeing?

"Many courses will give you the skills you need to find a job or gain a promotion. Other courses will help to improve your mental health and general wellbeing or improve your confidence online.

“You can learn about volunteering, how to help your children with their schoolwork or be more active in your community. Or perhaps your ambition is to go to university – if so, the Access to Higher Education programmes might be perfect for you.

"Adult Education Wolverhampton courses can also help to build your confidence in the digital skills, English and maths needed for work and everyday life and support to get you ready for work, including CV writing and preparing for job interviews.

"Whatever direction you want to take, Adult Education Wolverhampton is sure to have something for you, so please find out more at one of the open days next week.”
