Management and staff at Wolverahmpton Homes are saddened to hear today of the death of former City of Wolverhampton Councillor and Board member, Sue Constable.

Sue spent many years as a councillor for the Bilston ward and was the city cabinet member for children and families, leading on many projects to enhance the lives of young people in Wolverhampton.

Serving on the Board for Wolverhampton Homes for 10 years from 2005 when the Arm's Length Management Organisation was formed, Sue was a dedicated Board member. She was instrumental in supporting the delivery and helping to establish many of the strategies and procedures which led to the organisation being awarded a three star 'excellent' company rating by the Audit Commission in 2010, one of the first ALMOs in the country to achieve this.

Our condolences to Sue's family, friends and relatives at this sad time.
