Freedom of information and data protection
The Data Protection Act 2018 gives you the right to request a copy of any information we hold about you. It also requires us to store your data securely.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives you the right to know how we use information, how we operate, and how we make decisions.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) gives you the right to have access to all types of recorded information held by public authorities. The Act also sets out exemptions, which you should familiarise yourself with before making a request. The aim of FOI is to promote openness among public sector organisations about the way they work, the decisions they make, and how public money is spent. Requests for information held by Wolverhampton Homes are managed by the City of Wolverhampton Council.
Under the Data Protection Act, we have a duty to protect your personal data. More information is available in our privacy notice.
