Lesley Roberts - Chief Executive

Lesley became Chief Executive in March 2007. She has extensive experience in social housing, ranging from policy and research at the Greater London Council to operational management at Hounslow Homes, where she was Director of Housing.

Since joining Wolverhampton Homes, Lesley has taken the organisation from strength to strength. Achieving three stars "excellent" in the Audit Commission Inspection of 2010 which was the mark of her success in improving customer experience. More recently we achieved a ranking of 40th in the Best Companies Top 100 not-for-profit sector which shows her commitment to making Wolverhampton Homes a great place to work.

Lesley's drive is her belief that social housing can make a real difference in our communities.

Jan Lycett – Director of Business Support

Jan is Director of Business Support. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both housing and business development roles including most recently as Assistant Director of Business Improvement and Support with Muir Group Housing Association. 

Jan is responsible for the provision of cost-effective business support to organisational activities. She's the lead on financial strategy and is responsible for developing and delivering WH's commercial agenda. She's also responsible for human resources, organisational development, ICT strategy, communications, governance and Wolverhampton Homes’ digital agenda.

Shaun Aldis - Director of Operations

Shaun is Director of Operations. Over the years he has had a varied career both in Housing Management and Asset Management where he has held both operational and senior management positions.

Shaun’s is responsible for Stock Investment and Asset Management which covers: Corporate Procurement, Capital/Revenue Schemes, the Strategic Construction Partnership, Response/Planned Maintenance, Gas Servicing, electrical and also a licensed Asbestos Section within the in-house maintenance service. He also heads up the housing functions including housing management, housing support and neighbourhoods. 

In addition to this Shaun regularly features in ‘Ask the Expert’ for Inside Housing and is chairman of the NHMF and a committee member of HAMMAR.

Darren Baggs - Assistant Director of Housing

Darren has experience of working in both private and public sectors, starting his career in social housing in 1993. During this time Darren has held operational, strategic and senior management positions in property maintenance, right to buy, leasehold services and housing management.

Darren is passionate about the delivery of excellent customer services, and led upon a fundamental review of concierge services and the development of modernised CCTV command and control centre.

As Assistant Director of Housing, Darren is responsible for housing management, rent collection, anti-social behaviour, voids and lettings, housing support, and a range of neighbourhood services including a 24/7 concierge service, estate caretaking, grounds maintenance and arboriculture works.

Darren sits on the Board of Directors for the ‘Bilston Bid’ and is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Kevin Manning - Assistant Director of Property Services

Kevin has held a range of senior operational and strategic managerial posts within the social housing sector. His early career was in architecture, employed with a local chartered architectural and quantity surveying practice where he was responsible for the design and delivery of a range of large scale domestic, commercial and industrial projects. 

As Assistant Director of Property Services, Kevin is responsible for delivering property related services such as repairs and maintenance, including mandatory services for gas and electrical compliance, major capital investment improvement and regeneration projects.

In the delivery of these property related services he actively seeks to maximise local employment, inward investment and training initiatives, as well as value for money in terms of cost, quality and performance so that our tenants get the best possible benefits and outcomes.

Kevin also sits on the Board of Directors for The Way Youth Zone in Wolverhampton.
