Believing in accessibility for all

Sending best wishes to all our customers for 2023. Wolverhampton Homes would like to thank you for your support during 2022, which was a year of worldwide, national and local challenge – notably the invasion of Ukraine, coupled with rising inflation and soaring energy prices, while the world was still recovering from the lingering impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

To support with the challenges that impacted on our customers at a local level, Wolverhampton Homes held a series of Winter Wellbeing sessions to provide advice and support out in the community.

It was a privilege to speak to customers at these events and welcoming to hear so many of you are connecting with Wolverhampton Homes using digital channels, to make rent payments, report repairs and to manage your housing online accounts.

We have support and information available for a range of matters. including Money Smart who can provide financial support if you have money worries or are concerned about debt, household bills, energy costs or budgeting. The team can also offer advice on setting up and using My Account.

It is important to take steps to stay safe and well in the cold weather. If you are experiencing any issues with damp or mould please contact us to report this, and we will work with you to address any issues. There are also some small changes we can all make to reduce the likelihood of condensation in our homes. Please refer to our website which has a range of information available.

Our Winter Wellbeing sessions continue to be delivered across the city and we would like to invite you to come along and discuss any concerns or worries you have about keeping your home warm and cosy throughout the winter months.

I’d like to take this opportunity to remember Angela Davies, longstanding Wolverhampton Homes tenant and Chair of our Board, who sadly passed away unexpectedly over the Christmas period. Many of you will have known Angela in a personal or professional capacity – she was a well-respected member of the community and an important member of our WH team, instrumental in many of our recent projects and initiatives. Kind, committed and a huge advocate for customers, Angela will be missed greatly.

Wolverhampton Homes look forward to working with all our customers throughout 2023 to continue in the delivery of our services and to support the creation of thriving, safe and supportive communities.
