There are lots of ways reduce your energy use at home and save you money on your energy bills.

1. Energy saving light bulbs

Fit energy saving light bulbs wherever possible. They use less than a quarter of the energy of traditional bulbs, last longer and provide considerable savings over the lifetime of the bulb.

2. Use your timers wisely

Heating your home accounts for a large proportion of your energy bill. Use your central heating and hot water timers wisely and use thermostatic radiator valves (TRV's) to control room temperatires according to your needs.

3. Shower instead of bath

Try taking a shower instead of a bath. A five minute shower will save approximately 60 litres of water that won't need to be heated
