Bulky Items, Recycling and Fly Tipping

Find out how to manage your waste, what to do with your recycling and how to get rid of your unwanted bulky items.
Rubbish and Recycling
Your household waste and bin collection is managed by Wolverhampton City Council. To find out when your bins will be collected, what should go in your black, brown, garden or food bins, report a missed bin or to order a new bin - visit the Wolverhampton City Council recycling webpage.
Fly Tipping
It is illegal to tip any rubbish onto open spaces, alleyways or communal areas. Not only is it illegal, it's a health hazard and bad for the environment.
Fly tipping costs us all more than £70,000 a year. Help save this money by disposing of your unwanted items properly. You can donate then to charity, give them away on freecycle, take them to the local waste recycle centre or ask the city council to collect them for you.
If you discover or witness fly tipping please report it to the council using their online Report Fly Tipping form.
Bulky Items
Wolverhampton City Council will take up to five bulky items for disposal for a small fee, or free if you receive certain benefits. More information is available on the removal of large items webpage.
Recycling Centres
Your local recycling centres are:
• Shaw Road, Bushbury WV10 9NE
• Anchor Lane Coseley, WV14 9LG
For opening times visit the council’s recycling centres webpage
